If you just want a place to lay your head anything will do. If you want a place where you will make some lasting memories only something very special will do. But don't take my word for it; I encourage you to go to my direct website and read what my guests have to say. Send me an email and I'll send you the link.
I have three lovely and unique cabins located in the North Georgia/North Carolina Mountains (we are in the Tri-State area) near Blue Ridge GA and Murphy NC. All of them have hot tubs and fireplaces and as an added bonus they have ""fire circles"" for those evening sing-a-longs and campfires; all of them are waterfront or water access; one of them has a mountain view. Each one is briefly described below.
""Cabin Fever"" is a secluded new river front cabin located on Fightingtown Creek (a ""real log cabin""). It is filled with heirloom antiques as well as some comfortable new furniture (sofa beds etc.). You'll love the sound of the river rushing along while sitting on the covered back deck in one of our rockers. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the deck of which my guests have commented ""feels like your own private tree house"". The property is heavily forested and is covered with mature hardwoods as well as old growth hemlocks.
""Serenity Hill"" is secluded and surrounded by woods with an outstanding year round mountain view; it is located on the Toccoa River. The hot tub is situated on the back deck which overlooks the mountains and is private enough for ""clothes optional"" romantic soaks. This cabin is very unique and filled with many hand made log furnishings created by local artists/craftsmen beautiful ""Pottery Barn"" quilts as well as two VERY comfortable sofas for fireside napping. The River is accessed by a hiking trail that meanders down the mountain through the ""forest"" on my property. During summer months it's a great place to fish tube and just cool off.
""Creekwood Hollow"" is a completely refurbished one of a kind cabin/cottage. It was built before there were restrictions as to how close you can build to the water so when ""brunching"" in the sunroom you can look below you at the creek. Imagine lying on the daybed with the windows open reading your book listening to the creek babbling below you. The walls have hand painted floral murals; the upstairs bed (head board/foot board) is made from a picket fence. This home has a real yard with lots of huge old trees; it is level with large safe areas for the kids to play and dogs to explore. The hot tub sits on a huge deck that is only two feet from the water.
In addition to having wonderful cabins I have an excellent manager/housekeeper. She will make sure to check on you when you arrive be available should any problems arise during your stay and be happy to answer any and all of your questions concerning the cabin or the area. In addition to these services she can deliver flowers candy wine firewood groceries firewood etc.
