The house has two floors. On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms, 2 with double bed and one with two single beds and a bathroom with shower. On first floor there is a large living room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchenette.
Access to floors is via a wooden staircase.
Regarding the location of the house, it is in a small village, Janeiro de Cima, a village belonging to the municipality of Fund�???�???�???�???�???�???�???�??�?�£o, located in central Portugal.
Along the banks of the beautiful and winding river Z�???�???�???�???�???�???�???�??�?�ªzere, and inserted in the Schist Villages project that aims to protect, restore and distribute this National Heritage. Janeiro de Cima is therefore situated in a region of great natural beauty, among hills, pine forests, fertile valleys and historic sites, perfect for a variety of tourist activities, as is easily seen in its beautiful river beach.
Janeiro, the shortest name (although nearby is another village called Janeiro de Baixo!), is a small village, in Fundao, Castelo Branco district. It is known for its houses made of stones (schist and some stones from the river).
�?�ªzere river makes the summer a good time to visit this village. Here you will find Casa das Tecedeiras (The Weavers House) and a good restaurant with traditional food.
Nearby is Barragem de Santa Luzia (an artificial lake), Serra da LousÃ???, Serra da Estrela, Minas da Panasqueira (volframium mining) and other schist villages.
