The house is located at the Historic Center of town, 3 blocks from Central Park. The house is furnished and in good conditions. It has purify water, hot water (with gas) in the showers not usual in Antigua. It has the view to the volcanos in front of the house and a green area perfect to to refresh the house. Also it has security 24 hrs, the guardian takes care of help around the house and garden and there is a cleaning lady everyday; cook for $25 a week. The house includes 5 bedrooms and 3 bath, maximum occupancy 12 people. The kitchen is full equipped, 1 TV with cable, wireless internett conection parking lot for 3 cars.
If transportation needed we also offer shuttle bus and you can create your own tour day with our service, or we can offer tours for one day or more. The busses are new and have air conditioner, the drivers are very responsable and secure. Shuttle service from the airport to the house.
In front of the house there is a convenient store 24 hr. In same street a bakery, spanish classes, salsa class, Internet cafe, laundry, a church, print center, restaurants, museum, bookstore, print center, restaurants, long distance calling place, travel agency.
From Guatemala City, airport (La Aurora) the drive to Antigua takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour. There are extra urban buses that make the run to Antigua. There are several car rentals or local bus service. Antigua's streets are ideal for walking.
Climate: During the rainy season (mid-May through early October), the skies are virtually clear during the morning hours. The afternoon usually brings showers that can last for hours. It's good idea to bring along rain gear, although the lighter...the better. The dry months boast temperatures that run from 75 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit, with temperatures rising a bit during the months of March and April. Evenings can be chilly with temperatures dropping noticeably during the coldest months of December and January.
