The cabin is located in Tennessee, in the foothills of the Smokey Mountain National Park, nicely positioned between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, with easy access to the less traveled back roads to make your getting around easier. Just two-and-one-half miles from the famous Glades Road Arts and Crafts Community; six miles from downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (where you will enjoy tons of outlet shopping, restaurants, dinner shows) and five miles from the Dollywood theme park and Dollywood's Splash Country. Upstairs:(sleeps 4) The upper level has the kitchen with most of the modern amenities (cooktop, stove, dishwasher, fridge, blender, microwave), the valley side porch has the gas and charcoal grills with the local hand-carved chairs and the wide peaceful view of the Smoky Mtn. Range. Also on the entry floor is the master bedroom with a relaxing Jacuzzi a few feet away and a private tub/shower. The stacked washer dryer is also on this floor. For families with babies the portable crib is located in the closet in this room. The cabin has HBO channels. The gas fireplace is in the family room and the large couch opens up to a queen size sleeper. Kids love it because they can stay up and watch movies while snuggled in bed. Downstairs:(Sleeps 4) Game room, 2 sleeper foldout ottomans, the second bedroom, the second bathroom and the hot tub. The game room is equipped with a stereo CD player, a pool table, and a Foosball-Air Hockey table.

Fishing, Hiking, Rafting and Horseback riding Several small rivers are within an easy drive with roadside parking just about everywhere, thirty minutes will take you to three major rivers: Little river, Tellico river and Hiwassee river for more serious action (whatever activity you desire, stocked lake fishing for the young kids, fly casting for the big kids, white water rafting, tubing, canoeing or toe dangling, we?ve got it!) You can hire local fishing guides as well. Camping, Hiking and Horseback riding in the Smoky mountains is a wonderful experience, all of them are minutes away. Hiking guided tours can be arranged and nearby stables have horses for rent that are suitable for all levels of experience. Arts & Crafts abound, one of the best known areas (the Glades Arts & Crafts tour) is five minutes from the cabin.
Cars shows, Warbird museum, Ripleys Aquarium, Helicopter tours, Laser tag, Indoor skydiving, go carts outlet shopping, antiquing Golf courses, Dinner theatres, Indoor skydiving, rock climbing, caves, and wonderful 4th of July and Christmas events are all must see events.
Or, you might just want to stay at the cabin and relax... a lot of our guests do. Whatever your daily activities entail, you can rely on one thing; once the day is over, the evening at the cabin will be mountain quiet, crickets and birds. Enjoy relaxing in a rocking chair on the porch, or plan a cookout using the grill. (Use the blender, make some great drinks.)
